I love the end of summer when stores start carrying all the school supplies. I’m not sure why it excites me but it I have to buy a new box of crayons, tons of notebooks and a pen or two every year.
And the smell of school supplies brings right back to my elementary years and all the wonderful memories I had sitting in a classroom, making memories and learning new and fascinating things with fresh supplies at my disposal.
What I DON’T like this time of year, however, is fighting the crowds of last-minute moms and dads towing their kids down each aisle, weighing their options, trying to check everything off their list.

I know, because I’m usually one of those last-minute moms adding to the mayhem. With three kids and three different lists, that’s a lot of mayhem.
That’s why I am taking the time to help us busy parents, by doing the legwork so that we have the option of staying home and ordering the back-to-school supplies we need instead of having to head out to the packed stores with our little ones.
And with Amazon’s super fast shipping, even if school starts up in a week or two, we should have our supplies in plenty of time!

(If you know anything about me, I love to save money and have options. Although I prefer to shop Wal-Mart and Dollar Tree for my school supplies, I know not everyone does, so these links are to Amazon.)
