I think there is an unwritten rule somewhere that all kids must give their parents love coupons at some point in their young lives.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the thought behind them and express my gratefulness just as my parents did for my numerous coupons over the years. But I think for most kids, there’s the matter of finances and their abundance of selflessness that makes these coupons so popular among children.
So of course I had to make some for my own kids and thought you would like to have a free template to use for yours this Valentine’s Day.
These have traditionally been collected and given as a book, which is still a great idea, but there’s so much more you can do with them:
Do an advent calendar in February
Have a scavenger hunt with these as a prize
Put these in kid’s lunches
Hide them on Valentine’s Day in heart containers and have a hunt
Place them in special locations where the kids can find them randomly
Tuck them in school books to find later
These are also great for chore incentives they can earn
There are really endless ways to use these coupons and anyone can use them: kids, parents, grandparents, and siblings.
