If you have younger kids at home, you know there is no getting around taking them out trick-or-treating on Halloween. But for those of us who like to treat the kids in the neighborhood but have no one to stay behind to pass out candy, leaving candy in a bowl is the only option.

But if you’ve ever left candy in a bowl unattended, then you know that candy goes pretty fast. Leaving a spooky sign asking each child to only take one (or two) pieces isn’t going to solve the problem entirely, but it might get some kids to think before reaching for their candy.
